Hi Shirely. Lovely photographs on the blog. If I showed the view I have from my office it would probably scare a few people away from living in the area!!

If you get any tips about improving the blog site pass them my way. I'm hoping to develop mine over time with a diary of what it's like to run your own small business.

Hope to see you soon. I'll arrange a trip to Skye before the year's out. Honest!!

See ya. Take care. Jacky

Hi Shirely ... stayed at Lower Breakish a few years back, with the Munro's (right on the water), and was wondering if you know of the Mr. and Mrs. I love Skye! One of my favorite places in the world. I'm considering you one lucky person. Hope to return before long. My best to you, Monica Roberts

Hi Monica,
I'm afraid that I don't know the Munros, but Lower Breakish is lovely.
Best wishes, Shirley

Hello Shirley - I have never posted a comment on 'blog' sites before, so this may not work! My husband Paul and I live in Western Australia, and plan to visit the UK next year, after our first (and only!) trip in 1980. I would love to identify the places that Lillian Beckwith wrote about in her delightful book series, with 'Bruach' as the fictitious village in which she resided. I have read that 'Elgol', 'Soay' and 'Lower Breakish' are all areas in which she (may have) lived, and am wondering if you might know anything further? Would you mind emailing your answer directly to me, as well as placing on your 'blog' (if that is what happens - I am an absolute novice at this!) I can't wait to visit your wonderful land and see 'black' houses, and clay peats, and all the wonderful local character. Hoping you can help, and looking forward to your reply! With best regards from Rosani Sanderson: shaniandpaul@oceanbroadband.net
